Just wanted to share these images I snapped on Saturday while commuting on the F train from Brooklyn into Manhattan. It snowed in New York for the first time this year on Friday evening, so I decided to bring my camera with me on the ride to snap a few pictures. It’s funny how a couple inches of snow can bring new life to the places we see everyday.
As usual, I took these photographs while listening to music on my iPhone. I don’t remember exactly was blasting through my ears at the time, but I’m writing this while enjoying “Death and All His Friends” by Coldplay, which I suppose is fitting. The opening line of the song reads: “All winter we got carried, away over on the rooftops let’s get married. All summer we just hurried. So come over, just be patient and don’t worry. So come over, just be patient and don’t worry.”
“Just be patient and don’t worry” …. there’s a thought to carry you into 2013. Enjoy.
Nice, as usual.
